I have been using ECO-MIX software since 3 years. By using ECO-MIX the results are excellent and upto the mark. Previously I used to calculate the formulas manually. Manual calculations are time consuming and may not be the least cost. Now by using the ECO-MIX within couple of secons I am getting the best formula with standard optimum nutrient levels. ECO-MIX will give shadow pricing or opportunity cost on particular lngredient. So that I can decide at which rate I can purchase the Ingredients.

I would like to introduce myself as Raju, M/s. Venkateshwara Feeds, Karimnagar, A.P, India. We are into Poultry and Cattle feed business since 4 years. We are using ECO-MIX software for calculating least cost feed formulations for Poultry and Dairy.
We are satisfied with ECO-MIX formulations, because it is Windows based & calculates the formula by using the available Ingredients with the market price as per our nutrient specifications.
The Profit/Loss screen in ECO-MIX is very useful to us since it includes grinding/processing charges, bag cost and other charges. So that we will be knowing the Net feed cost/bag. Since all these options are provided by ECO-MIX software we can easily calculate the profit margin.
Comparison of competitors selling price of the feed will enable us to decide our selling price of the feed.
Our manual formulas can be easily compared side by side with ECO-MIX least cost feed formulations. Unknowingly in our manual formulas we used more of Methionine & Lysine by that cost of the feed will increase and our profit margins has gone down. By using ECO-MIX, we can know how much exact quantity of Methionine & Lysine can be added to the formula.
